Marquette University Law School

Eckstein Hall at Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, WI is a 200,000 square foot contemporary, state of the art learning center.  This exciting project was challenging due to the many fine details of this exceptional facility.

As you enter the main entrance you are greeted with Armstrong AXA Slotted Wood Works Ceilings which are a beautiful compliment to the distinctive wood veneer walls.

The plastered beams with acoustical ceiling panels designed by “Custom Cut New Dimension” followed the curved radius of the building and each tile was custom fit at the job site to accommodate the intricate pie shape.  This dramatic ceiling is a perfect complement to the high ceilings and large windows which highlight the Milwaukee skyline.

The main stairwell is open for four floors and capped by a stunning tiered drywall soffit with an insert of 4 x 4 Optima acoustical tile and Sonata grid which provides not only beauty but acoustical properties as well.
