Sustainability : LEED

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program is a point system created by the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) in which your project can earn points in a certification process and then be awarded one of four certification levels: Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. LEED certification is based on the following criteria:

• Sustainable Sites
• Water Efficiency
• Energy and Atmosphere
• Materials and Resources
• Indoor Environmental Quality
• Innovation and Design Process

By certifying your project, you’ll be recognized for your commitment to the environment. Plus, you’ll qualify for state and local government initiatives. VerHalen can integrate quality, durability, and style while respecting our environment and natural resources.
